GFCF RESTAURANTS & RECIPES FOR HOME...

O.k. So here's the deal. If you go out to eat there are some places that offer GF foods, most have cross-contamination w/ non GF foods or are fried w/ them.  Or they can be GF, but are held in the same kitchen as non-GF foods the would be cross contact, this is the safest bet. You need to avoid cross contamination as this means it might as well not be GF. Even though restaurants may post a GF or GFCF menu, it is important that you treat each location differently. Every restaruant has it's own practices and each store within a chain is managed diffferently. Ask them if the GF items are fried or cooked in the same friers or utinsels as the non GF items. Be very careful. You don't want all your hard work to go down the drain. Most restaurants also do not have caesin free items, so you usually will have to order from the gluten free menu and ask them to leave off the casein items to your dish.
