WE ARE T.I.A
(TOGETHER IN AUTISM)
Most of us have a family member or loved one who has been diagnosed with Autism. This
can come as quite a shock, you feel such a range of emotions all at once. Among these emotions, one of these as parents we
all tend to share at that initial diagnosis, is that we feel a door may possibly be locked on the hopes and dreams we
have for our children on their way into adulthood. It is what we do after that matters, the view we choose to obtain
throughout this journey we are about to endure. Our mission is to further promote support and information for parents in a
group or individual setting online for Free. We are here to hold your hand and guide you. We strive
to make a difference by educating the public and expanding our reach. Our goal is to speed the process from diagnosis
to being informed, staying informed, connecting families, allowing them to share experiences and helping those with autism
thrive. We meet online once a week in our Chat Room Wednesday's @ 9 pm, in an open forum where there is
neither right nor wrong. Our website is available to the general public on a national/international level, as a one
stop location for all things related to autism. We provide helpful information for those having a loved
one just diagnosed, those on the autism journey for years, and those just wanting to get educated. We provide a constant
source of varied information. This site for example, includes pages titled: Medicaid Waiver Locater, Online Dietary Suppliers,
Must Read Books/Magazines, Famous People With Autism, Guest Book and Chat Room (for support among viewers 24
Hours a day) just to name a few. Our goal is to continually increase the popularity of our common interests to the community.
We are continuing to grow and expand and hope to add many more new and frequent viewers. We want to have fun with what we
are doing, by developing relationship's and friendship's, and making the resource we provide even stronger. We are
now seeking financial means to help more and to a greater degree. Please go to our main page to place a donation today through
our secure paypal link- donations are not tax deductible. Please be sure to join our Yahoo Group, Mailing List and
visit our Chat Room Wednesday's 9pm for Support Meeting's.

OUR MISSION TO HELP THE AUTISM COMMUNITY
* We are raising funds for
families in need of financial assistance due to autism related medical bills, as well as money for autism research
(We cannot do this without your help - support from
donation's). Any amount you are able to give is valuable and vital, as each penny helps us reach our goal.
*******
* We want to see Autism Outreach Center's
throughout the globe that supply information, a place for support and resources that is available regardless of one's location
or income. The facility will share the same premises of "Together In Autism". We need a physical place where all
our autism needs are met, including care for the caregivers mental and physical wellness. We want this to be
a role model for every community.
*******
* We want your journey to be a smooth one.
We aim to make your lives a little bit easier. We truly care about you and your journey and hope that we are helping you in
some way. Our Sincere Best To You and Your Loved Ones...
*******
*
We are all on our own journey, "Together In Autism" wants to see every available resource's in every
community, to fit everyone's needs...
*******
*We
would like to see the government make degrees and or seminars in Autism, mandatory for speciific teachers and staff, both
parents and teachers find this to be a much needed improvement. T.I.A is invloved in a community project that is bringing
this to fruition in an area of the Midwest, by organizing our resources as a community into a group effort.
*******
* We want to also see Autistic School's available in our community as well
as every community across the globe
as an alternative option for schooling that will hold anywhere
from 15-30 students, a small intimate setting. There are alternative schools for specific groups of children, we need one
to be for Autism, where autistic therapies are integrated into their educational day in a fun relaxed positive setting
with licensed teachers/therapists with a ratio of one teacher for every two students. Neither education of therapy will be
of primary focus, both therapy and education will be equally applied into the school day. This would be a multifaceted
educational program, providing a highly specialized learning environment for those students who are not thriving in their
local school. Small class sizes, and a dedicated creative staff that will provide individualized attention that each
child needs in order to succeed. They will stay as long as needed and those with great progress can transition with ease into
their local school system. One of the many therapies we think would be vital in the school setting is FLOOR THERAPY and
seems to be one of the best for any situation. This is not covered by the Insurance Mandate. Floor Time is a treatment developed
by child psychiatrist Stanley Greenspan. Floor Time is a treatment method and a philosophy for interacting with autistic children.
It is based on the premises that the child can increase and build a larger circle of interaction and growth with an adult
who meets the child at its current developmental level and who builds on the childs strengths. Many have found remarkable
results, and at times can limit the frequency of Behavioral Therapy. As it lessens the frequency of meltdowns. Music Therapy
and Role Playing are also a few of the methods that could be applied. Our children are at school for education and interaction,
but in some cases staff members are not specially educated with some form of degree in Autism. Those children that may
not show progress in our local school district, that are there all day Mon-Fri with parents trying to fit crucial therapy
into their child's life. There should be a center for those children, with staff members that are overqualified to care
for and educate those children, this is where they spend the most of their time. These children are our future and the numbers
for Autism are shattering. This can be a part-time or full-time option for parents.
******* * We are aiming to accomplish
the above ideas to help communities across the globe, as permanent dependable options, as right now there are few to
none. If you know anyone that may be interested in these specific causes, sponsors,/donations, advertising on our site
or giving helpful direction, please contact us. We are all very busy individuals, we are here to fullfill your needs
Nationally/Internationally. We need the peace of mind that our loved one's needs are getting the care and resources that they
deserve. We have been blessed with the gift of our children, T. I. A is here to help you and your family."WE
ARE TOGETHER IN AUTISM."
